Foot Care

Services

Our services include expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of foot conditions. Some of these conditions include:

Skin and nail conditions:

 

  • Discoloured and/or thickened nails

  • Skin (callus) and corns​

  • Plantar warts

  • Ingrown toenails​

Diabetic Foot Care:

 

  • Our podiatrists perform detailed neurovascular evaluations to assess nerves, blood circulation, and foot structure, assigning a diabetic foot risk rating. Treatments encompass routine nail and skin maintenance, footwear evaluation, and foot care guidance, in coordination with your physician for ongoing support.

Pain Management:

  •  Heel, forefoot, Achilles, ankle, and knee pain.

 

 

Rollins Podiatry

No GP referrals required.

All private health funds rebate and a HICAPS service is available. We are registered to treat Department of Veterans’ Affairs clients and accept Medicare funded Enhanced Primary Care plan referrals.

Principal/Senior Podiatrist

Dr. Samuel Abbott 

Samuel Abbott grew up in Perth and completed his Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia. He spent two years living and working in Melbourne, Victoria and has since moved back home to Perth. Sam works solely in private practice with a focus in treating diabetic foot complications and biomechanical problems using orthotic therapy. Sam has also completed a course in Dry Needling which he uses in conjunction with other treatments to help improve foot and leg pain.

Sam enjoys his free time gardening, playing water polo for the Somerset Seals and heading down to the coffee strip with his wife and family.

Senior Podiatrist

Ann Rollins

Ann studied in Glasgow and was selected for teacher training at Jordanhill College of Further Education, which eventually saw her take a position at Curtin University as a senior tutor in the late 70’s where she was involved initially with clinical teaching and functional anatomy. She later trained in minor surgery, sports medicine and acupuncture.

Ann joined Chris in private practice in Victoria Park in 1985. Her practice has included sessions treating high-risk diabetic cases at RPH and work with the WA Arthritis Foundation.

Ann’s skill in podiatric biomechanics has developed with many years work with the East Fremantle Football Club and a long working relationship with the army. Ann has given lectures in relation to diabetic education and in foot related injuries.

Interested in meditation and crafts Ann has 3 daughters in their twenties and is actively engaged in sports which include fencing, martial arts and golf.

Senior Podiatrist

Joanne Ang

​Dr Joanne Ang is a podiatrist who graduated from the University of Western Australia’s Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. She is currently a senior lecturer with the UWA Podiatric Medicine & Surgery discipline, and also has experience working in the private setting in both metropolitan and rural areas.
